Who Is Who?

I was a primary school teacher for 11 years before I began full time ministry over 20 years ago. Ever since then I have seen God provide for me and my family.

For me, the essential things are that we might be a beacon of the gospel in this area to everyone we meet.

I am convinced that to be really evangelical and not compromise on the Bible in the liberty of the Holy Spirit is the only way forward today.  My burden to bring all believers to maturity in Christ is reflected in Colossians 1:28-29 – "We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labour, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me."

I had the privilege of being brought up in a loving Christian home and, although I came to know Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour as a teenager, there then came a time in my life when I chose to live my life my way rather than for Him.

This continued until 2006 when in His love and mercy Jesus profoundly challenged me in a ‘Damascus Road’ type of experience, which eventually led me to surrender my life back to Him in early 2007.

My family and I first came to RBC in 2013 and were lovingly welcomed into the fellowship and have since served in different ways. I received my call to Eldership in the summer of 2015 and, following a time of testing that call, joined the Eldership team in January 2016.

My heart is to share Jesus with those who currently do not know Him and also lovingly to support and encourage those who do know Him to grow to greater Christian maturity as they follow Him.
